Oktoberfest Wanaka
Thank you to all involved in Oktoberfest Wanaka 2010 - what a great night!
See you all again in September 2011
We celebrated the authentic Oktoberfest in Wanaka on September 2010, in the festive decorated
Town Hall. All
our
decoration was imported from Germany and we had banners, flags, balloons,
posters
and
everything
in the Bavarian colors Blue and White.
Our original Bavarian trestle benches give you the
real
feeling of “schunkeln” (sitting close to each
other with dancing moves).
We had three delicious Bavarian dishes to choose from, and the purest German
beers for you to
taste. The Koenig Ludwig Hell (wheat beer, 0.5l), the Koenig Ludwig
Dunkel (lager,0.5l) and the
Warsteiner Pilsner (pils, 0.3l).

Everything was served by pretty waitresses in Bavarian
costumes, the traditional “dirndls”.
The STEIN BAND from Hamilton played traditional oompah
music and fantastic party dance songs.
We had party games, a fundraiser raffle for a local charity
and spot prizes for best dressed!
Bring your friends, clients, team mates and have the best night
out at the REAL Oktoberfest Wanaka 2011. Save your money on
buying
a ticket for an overseas trip – come to Wanaka and enjoy real
Bavarian atmosphere in New Zealand.
